2. Hosting

This website is operated with Odoo Online, a service of Odoo S.A., Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Ramillies, Belgium. Odoo processes the data as a processor in data centers in the EU. When accessing the page, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, accessed address, referrer URL, as well as browser and operating system. The processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Additionally, Odoo creates a visitor record that stores the pages visited, the country derived from the IP address, the chosen language, and the time of the first and last visit. This record does not contain a name; if you send me a request, it can be linked to it. The processing serves to improve my offerings and to categorize requests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Inactive visitor records are automatically deleted.

3. Contact Form

If you use the contact form, I process your name, your email address, the chosen project type, and your message to respond to your request (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Providing your name, email address, and message is required, as I cannot process your request otherwise. The information is stored in my customer management system (Odoo CRM).

For emails, I use Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as a processor. A transfer to Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out; it occurs based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

I delete your request as soon as it has been finally processed and there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.

4. AI Assistant "Digital Twin"

On the "Digital Twin" page, you can ask questions to an AI assistant. The use is voluntary. The text of your questions and the conversation history of the current session are processed. The conversation history is only kept in your browser and not permanently stored; it will be discarded when the page is reloaded.

Your inputs are initially sent to a server of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. There, your IP address is temporarily processed to limit abusive requests; it is not shared with subsequent providers. From there, the inputs are transmitted to OpenRouter, Inc., USA, and forwarded by this service to a data center operator that provides the language model (currently Claude from Anthropic, operated via Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud) to generate a response. I have configured the processing to use only providers that do not store inputs or use them for training.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in providing interested parties with information about my services at any time, as well as the initiation of a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f and b GDPR). The transmission to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as long as the recipient is certified under it, otherwise based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

Please do not enter personal or confidential data in the chat. The responses are generated automatically and may be incorrect; only a personal offer is binding.

4. Cookies

Technically necessary cookies (e.g., for language selection and session security) are set based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Optional cookies, such as for visitor statistics, are only set if you consent in the cookie banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). An overview of the cookies used can be found in the cookie policy.

5. Fonts and external content

All fonts and graphics are loaded from the server of this website. When the page is accessed, there is no connection to Google Fonts, content delivery networks, or social networks. Links to social media profiles and external platforms (e.g., Fiverr) are simple links; data is only transmitted to the respective provider when you click on them.

6. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR). Please contact the address mentioned above for this.

You also have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Autorité de protection des données, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
